“Hey, Doc, any progress?” I heard Joel ask the doctor who has been trying to get me to talk for the last couple of weeks. I think his name is Dr. Hastings. He’s nice; I can tell that much.
“Good morning, Joel. His eyes seem to show some emotions, but it doesn’t seem like he’s responding to the medications I’ve given him. I’ve increased the dosage again this week, so we will have to wait and monitor him.”
