Tracking them to Ariel’s house was easy, but Tsura isn’t stupid. At least, they could rule out possible kidnapping. Circe walks up the steps of her house and straight to her office. Ariel explained what she found when she returned, and they now know that Tsura used something to cover their scent. But why?
She looks over the maps of their new territory and discusses which way to go with Gareth and the warriors when Harro and Blake walk in. Harro looks petrified.
“Circe, do you think she heard us talking?”
“I … No, surely I would have heard her if she was nearby.” Would she? Tsura has power that nobody knows about. She is one of her kind. She might be a dream walker, but the life she lived before they all met taught her things they didn’t know about. At least, that much they know.
