Loud talking outside the house draws their attention.
“What now?!” Circe sighs, getting up to find out what is going on when Gareth rushes into the house.
“Alpha, it’s urgent.” He nods in the direction of her office, and she follows him. First, it’s strange to have him just ignore protocol and walk in front of her. Second, his expression is one of worry. She closes the door behind her, leaving the rest of them to wonder what is going on.
“Alpha, your uncle escaped. The royal guard was just here to inform us.”
“WHAT?!” She grabs her phone and dials when Blake walks in. Gareth wants to stop him, but she orders him to stand down. All of them need to know this if they are going to find her uncle and bring him to justice!
