I gasp and hide my eyes behind my hand. Marco laughs.
"I told you this movie would be too scary."
"I didn't know how... this... how can they make it look so real?! It looks like it was real." I tell him.
I am doing everything that I can to not unsheath Ishtar and slice up the screen every time a jumpscare comes.
"Here. Come closer." He puts his arm around me and hugs me while I lie my head on his chest.
When a jumpscare suddenly comes, he immediately puts his other arm around me and shields me making the whole thing less scary.
I find this to be so sweet.
