"Son of a b***h!" I shout.
"It's fine! It's fine! They can't seem to get through the gate." Selene says.
We are both out of breath, watching the monsters turn back and walk back from where we ran.
I look around in panic. "We are alone! We lost the others!"
Selene looks around now also noticing. "s**t!"
"What do we do!"
"First, stop paniking."
"That is not going to happen!"
"Fine but at least put away that damn gun!"
"That's not going to happen either!"
"We need to keep going..." Selene mutters.
"Going?! Did you not see what we just went through?!"
"Well then... our only options are to keep going until we meet up with the others since we are going in a circle or stay here for all eternity waiting. Unless you want to go back the way we came from?"
