I was woken up by the annoying sound of my ringtone. I groaned and drew the covers over my head and let it ring until it went to voicemail. It started ringing immediately again, and I cursed and shot up in the bed and snatched the phone. "What?" I hissed. I hated being woken up abruptly in the morning. I leaned against the headboard and let my eyes wander around as I adjusted my nightwear. Looking down at myself, I didn't recognize the t-shirt I wore. Oh, crap. I forgot about Nick. "Chill, it's me," Alex said on the other end, and I groaned. The worst person to call me right now. Alex and I had gotten so close this past year, that it was hard for me to keep anything from him. I held the phone away from my ear to listen to any sounds that insinuated Nick was somewhere in my apartment. W
