After reassuring Nick that I was fine for the hundredth time, he finally agreed to move on. He threatened to leave all this and go home, but I was having none of it. Luckily, Jay was on my side on this; he wanted us to finish this once and for all, now that we had the chance.
I stayed low while Jay and Nick handled the men we saw. Nick kept glancing at me to make sure I was still there, so I made an effort to always stay in line of sight and not move too much. We worked ourselves through the building room by room, and if I did my calculations right, they must have killed over 20 people by now, already exceeding the number of people they thought was left.
