Leo was surprised to find a message from Ethan in his office. After days of blunt refusals, Dr. Angel had agreed to a “family consultation” with Eva, Annette, and Arthur. Leo was offered an invitation as well, even though he had not asked Dr. Angel for any help for himself. Perhaps she had something to tell him about his pup after the meeting with his wife and her parents.
Leo decided to accept the invitation. He wanted an excuse to visit with the doctor and talk about his daughter's care. He also hoped that he could act as a mediator and keep Eva and her parents from upsetting or offending the healer.
