I wanted to be so upset with Adira, but I couldn't. I felt it too, the need to protect this pack and my mate. I can't imagine how much she is feeling it, being the Alpha. I don't know what that makes me, but I still hope she would always see me as her equal in every aspect.
When I woke up from the burning in my body, I felt so many things at once but I knew what it was. I felt her. Felt the Moon Goddess as if she placed her hand on me and chose me.
