**Adira's POV**
It has been a rough and busy eighteen months. From healing from a great loss, to getting into the groove of really leading and entire pack. It is a whole other experience, the day-to-day life as an Alpha compared to when you are an Alpha preparing for war. But Gabriel and I have adjusted well, and things have been running smoothly lately. There were some bumps in the road and a few mistakes, but we worked out the kinks, and found a rhythm and system that worked for everyone. People are happy, smiling and laughing, no longer cowering in fear like they once have before under a power-hungry Alpha. They enjoy their lives here and feel safe. That is all an Alpha could really want for their pack, for their family.
