The whole team seemed happy to have me back in training. The guys hugged and wished me well although none of them except Liam and coach Brooks actually showed up for me. Not even a message of support but anyway what was done was done at least now I knew who liked me and who didn't.
That morning we started with cardio, running two laps around the field to get set for training. Our goal keepers and most full backs, center backs always led on this one, they had more gas than strikers like me and middle fielders like Liam would follow behind. That day however it was Liam and I at the back, one would have thought we were a pace car and in front of us a very precious cargo being transported.
"You good men?" He asked as we ran in synch wearing matching black shorts with our jersey number
