Aiden was stabbed just above his heart with a silver dagger. We got him back to the pack just in time. Any longer and he would’ve died. I run outside to help with the fight, but I stopped at the scene in front of me. All the rogues were dead, and the demon that were left were now kneeling. This could mean one thing either Elena or her father killed Zane, or our mate is dead. I see Maria coming towards me but stops and looks behind me. The color leaves her face. I turn and look to see Hades carrying Elena’s limp body. She’s covered with a cloak but there’s blood dripping on the ground… Elena’s blood. Fear takes over my body and I’m frozen in place.
