I knew Sky was crying but didn’t question her. She would tell me when the time is right. The way her mouth opens and shuts when trying to talk to me earlier makes me think there is something keeping her from being able to talk to me. I will leave it alone for now.
As we walk into the office, I watch Ariel jump out of the seat, wrapping Sky in her arms. “I can’t believe it. You're having a pup, how exciting. Our babies will be able to grow up with each other. How great will that be?” Ariel rants as I watch Sky slightly flinch at her words.
