Rowan’s Point of View
I figured out hours ago that I had done something to royally piss my wife off, but I had no idea what it was. She hadn’t spoken to me since she shot up from the table.
“Are you ready to hit the road beloved?” I pulled her into me, but she quickly recoiled away. I gently but firmly grabbed her chin, “I know you’re mad at me for some unknown reason, and I can’t wait to hear what I’ve done to deserve your wrath, but we will deal with that in private. I will not put our business on the street, and you will not embarrass me in front of everyone” I whispered in her ear.
“I am” she forced a smile and we said goodbye to everyone. I held her hand tightly until we got outside.
“What is your problem?” I asked when we got in the car.
“Just drive” she said as she crossed
