Scarlett’s Point of View
I had no idea what time it was, but I knew it was late because the moon was out by the time Lucky, Rebecca and I finished up at the store. Lucky was working in the office with us trying to sync all our computer systems.
“At least we’re closed for the next two days” Rebecca said wearily.
“Do you want to ride home with us or are you meeting Bastien at Beloved’s?” Lucky asked Rebecca when my phone rang.
“Hi Grandma! Can I call you… Are you sure?... Oh my god! Oh my god! I’ll call you back!” I don’t think I disconnected the call before I started screaming and jumping around Rebecca’s office. “THE BABY IS COMING! THE BABY IS COMING!”
“WHAT!?!?!” Rebecca hollered.
“Nugget is coming! That was Grandma, Dylan and Rowan are with Marie, she’s in labor!”
