Lark climbed into the passenger seat of the sports car and tugged the seatbelt over her shoulder. She felt Max glaring at her, and she clicked the seatbelt in place looking at him curiously, “what?” “I wanted to open your car door. You couldn’t wait thirty seconds?” “It’s me, Max.
