When Nyra went to see Naeva in the morning, Naeva gasped, "What happened to your face?"
Nyra rubbed her swollen eyes and patted the swollen cheeks, "I couldn't sleep last night."
The woman who came to help Naeva get ready saw her like that and was concerned, "Oh, poor you. Do you want some ice? It can reduce the swelling."
Nyra smiled, "Yes, thank you."
Soon, Nyra sat in Naeva's room with an ice block covered in a towel. She rubbed it on her face every few seconds and hissed at rh cold touch.
"Rub it around." Naeva said.
Nyra rubbed it, flinching as it touched her skin. Soon, everything became numb and the ice didn't feel so cold anymore but her entire face was dripping melted ice water.
