“We can do this tomorrow,” Seth says, finally putting the dagger in his desk drawer.
What the hell is wrong with him? “Not with silver, you won’t.”
“It’s required,” he shrugs. “That’s how we transfer the pack.”
“Figure it out, but you’re not getting near her with silver,” I growl at him. He’s my mate, and I know he’s not intending to hurt her, but after seeing just one memory, I feel a deep need to protect her.
Benjamin stands with Katya, realizing that this is not the time or place for a pup. “I’m going to take her home. Take your time, Son. I’ll stay with her as long as you need.”
