*Ada* Ralph’s mom pulls me into a tight hug before calling for his Dad. “It’s so good to see you,” she whispers into my ear. “You look good. You look healthy.” “I am,” I tell her as she holds me at arms length, inspecting me. Ralph’s dad comes downstairs and bows as soon as he sees Seth. “Have we done something wrong, sir?” “Not at all,” he assures him. “I just came with the Alpha as a friend.
