“Hey, Big Brother,” Molly says as Ada and I approach the packhouse. She moved slowly, but she insisted on walking herself. It’s chilly out, but she refused to put shoes on her feet. I was confused at first, but I could feel her happiness through the bond as her feet touched the grass. “Audrey had something sent for you guys to drive back.”
I furrow my brow as she reaches out and hands me keys to a car. She tilts her head, and when I look in that direction, I find a black convertible parked beside the packhouse.
“I’m to drive?” I ask slowly. I’m nervous. “What if I do something wrong?”
“You won’t,” she smiles, walking off.
