I didn’t realize when Benjamin and Calvin decided to stay with their friend that they would also take the Alpha for most of the evening. They left me in the packhouse with the Luna, and she’s a damn i***t. I thought the way she looked at Calvin was because he’s so handsome, but it took me about an hour of her talking to realize it was because of money, or his connection to it.
They missed breakfast this morning, too, but at least Arthur was there. I knew he had his hands full with his mate, but I didn’t realize just how money-hungry she is. It’s something I’ll bring to Seth and Molly's attention. She’s marked, so there’s not much that can be done, but I think he'd reject her if given the chance.
“You guys have a good time?” I ask as the two men approach the car.
