When I enter the apartment, I can hear Ada and Audrey giggling. I follow the sounds to Ada’s closet and stick my head in the door.
There is a bottle of champagne open on one of the large dressers. Each of them holds a glass as they laugh while Audrey holds clothes up to my mate. Ada is smiling and laughing. It’s so beautiful that I almost miss the dress she’s wearing.
I see her reflection in the mirror, and my heart skips a beat. She is absolutely stunning.
“Hi, Dada!” Katya exclaims from the floor and begins to crawl to me.
“Hey, Baby Girl,” I smile, lifting her into my arms before turning my attention to Audrey. “Did you get my mate drunk?”
She rolls her eyes at me. “She’s not drunk. She’s barely had one glass.”
“I know,” I smile at my mate as she turns around.
