*Ada* I wake up in a field of wildflowers under a beautiful night sky. I haven’t been here since Calvin found me. I sit up, looking around for him or Mace, but neither is there. Instead, I see another wolf. My wolf. “Idun,” I say softly, in shock. She turns to me, and I swear I see her smile. “Hello, Ada,” she replies, walking through the flowers to me. “It is good to see you again.” I wrap my arms around her neck. When I first shifted, I was disappointed. My wolf wasn’t large, and she wasn’t a special color. Dorothy’s was pure white, and Anthony’s was so dark he looked black, but mine… she was just a normal dusty brown wolf. Right now, though, after being apart for so long, she’s the most beautiful wolf I’ve ever seen. “You got out,” she says, her voice laced with pride
