I'd probably have passed out if Seth wasn’t holding my arm so tightly. Lily has a sister? Dad told me she was dead.
“Sorry,” I tell her, trying to pull it together. “Lily told us her sister was dead.”
Rose frowns and shakes her head. “Violet did die in the attack our parents died in,” she tells me gently. “Lily and I were twins, and I’m obviously not.”
“You said were,” Seth points out. “You are aware that she is dead?”
Rose nods. “When one twin dies, the other feels it. I knew the moment that evil left the world.”
Evil? She knew? Did she know what Lily did to me? The room feels like it’s spinning. I stumble back and sit on a bench, trying to wrap my head around everything. Seth turns to me, but I wave him off. I need a minute to just breathe.
