Ada holds my hand as I drive to Moon Valley. She’s so nervous that it worries me.
We stayed up late last night as she practiced controlling her aura. She didn’t even know she had it for so long that it’s now become something so deeply personal to her. At the palace, we all keep our auras under control around her so as not to spook her, except when I hold her with mine in the bedroom. I see now how that may have been a mistake.
