Thankfully, the Alpha was too busy dealing with the aftermath of the attack to have breakfast with us. Thankfully, his Luna was too busy dealing with preparations for the ball tonight for it as well.
“Do they know Seth is coming?” I ask Peter.
He looks up from his computer and smirks at me. “Of course they do. Why do you think they skipped breakfast? They have to get everything ready for the King’s arrival.”
I’m not sure I understand what they need to prepare, but I don’t think I care enough to actually ask.
“Do you have any work I can help you with?” I ask. “I just feel… useless.”
