Oswald "I can't believe this!" I groaned as Aztec rolled in the silt. His fur was matted with the dirt and there was no way that he wouldn't need a bath. Aztec continued to ignore my grumbles and continued to dive and slap his paws in the mud. "Oswald?" I heard my mate's sweet voice through our link. Rolling my eyes, "don't even ask," I muttered out my response. She giggled. Of course, it would be amusing to everyone except me. Being paired with Aztec was a blessing yet a pain at the same time. I cast a glance at our mate. Seeing her smiling was refreshing. Ever since we walked out of the doctor's office she was looking gloomy. Whenever she smiled, it seemed like it was forced. Yet, Aztec's goofy antics had made her smile reach her eyes. Perhaps this wasn't a bad thing after all.
