AVERY’s POV.
Walking into the hospital, all eyes turn to me but I don’t say a word to anyone and continue on my way to Zachary’s office. He made a mess of me and now I am going to make him pay for everything he did to me.
“Mrs Avery” his assistant rushes towards me, “we didn’t know you were coming”
He looks a bit apprehensive and I can’t blame him, after all he is working for my ex husband.
“Why?” I ask him, handing my bag to the new assistant Zayn has employed for me. She is also a beta wolf, one of the strongest. He says he wants to rest, assured that I am fine and I didn’t object. After all, I am his baby.
“Do I need to tell you when I am coming? This is my hospital as much as it is Zachary so no, I do not need to inform you when I am coming”
