Something is definitely wrong and this woman in front of me has confirmed it. Last night, Avery didn’t say anything tangible and now Karen is acting all sly and secretive. One of them is not telling me the truth.
But imagine my surprise when she ditched the softer approach and actually pressed her lips on mine. She kissed me, she actually did.
I immediately push her away, moving as far as possible away from her. How dare she? How dare she place that lips on mine.
“How dare you?” I growl in anger, my wolf almost jumping out of my body and tearing her up, “how dare you kiss me?”
