The space where the cats had been kept had been a totally different set up compared to the dogs building . The cats were relatively more free and , whilst they were all in cages against the wall , all of it were interlinked allowing free interaction between the many cats that were there . It was like some massive cat jungle gym with scratching posts and trees and hammocks perched infront of the high windows with wood fittings to allow the cats access to get up there and soak up some sunlight . Green grass had lined the base of the cages perhaps to give the cats some sensory of what it felt like of actually being outside and digging in the dirt or chewing on some green grass .
