The waves crashed against the sandy shores violently as the tide picked up with an increasing speed . The salty air had sent my hair flying about and I reached above to tame my red hair before encasing the top of my head with a straw hat to keep it at bay . It was much too early to be on the beach at this time but I could barely catch even the slightest wink of sleep and , when I did happen to lol into a light slumber , I jerked awake every five minutes on the clock until I gave up and chose to drive down to the beach and catch the sunrise . It was the wisest choice for me to make with the other , deadful , alternative being to wallow in my self pity in my apartment and nursing a wounded ego . I was never sought out and craved with such a wild , irrational passion before nor have I ever
