True to my word , and thanks to the punctual bone in my body , I was ready just before the time that I said I would be . It wasn' t that I expected the same kind of punctuality of others but it was standard I maintained for myself . Every individual is allowed to be late due to circumstances that aren' t in our control but within reason .
With nearly ten minutes to spare , I stood a foot of the thickly framed mirror that has deep gold trimmings at the rectangular edges . The mirror was large enough to fit my entire length in its reflection with ease . I have attended a dozen of black tie events before so this would not be a surprise and neither would it overwhelm me with it's crowd .
