I was not expecting to see anyone tonight least of all Nicholas . Yet , here he stood in the passage way of my apartment dressed in a three piece suit besides the blazer . . so , really , it was more like a two piece than a three . Whatever it was , it appeared to me as if he had rushed over here just after he had concluded with his work for the day . His thick hair was still neatly in place as if it had been freshly styled .
He raised the brown bag in his hand that had not caught my attention in the rush of thinking there had been an intruder in my apartment . " I thought you could use some good . " He brushed past me , his body nearly moving against mine , as he moved into the kitchen .
