Damien felt hopeless. No matter what he said, Addie wasn't having it.
If he said something sweet, it made her cry even harder.
"What can I do to make it up to you, Addie? I'll do anything you want," Damien said desperately.
"I...I don't know. I think I want to be alone for a while if that's okay," she said. She wiped her tears.
Damien sighed. He was afraid she would ask that. "Okay. I'll go to my office and get some work done," he said tried to touch the red mark on her face, but she turned away.
He didn't know what else to say, so he left.
Damien went back to his office and called Robbie.
"It's time. We are going to get that bastard Tommy. Gather some men and head to Chicago," Damien ordered.
