When we got outside, I told Bellamy I wanted her to ride Remus home. My wolf was over half as tall as she was and thickly muscled. He could easily carry our tiny mate.
I shifted and she put the bag onto me before climbing on. She hugged it and gripped my fur underneath. Since we weren’t trying to carefully track the border, I was able to take a couple shortcuts and run at top speed.
It was about five when we arrived at the border of my pack lands. I slowed down to a trot and the border guards let us through. We went through the wooded areas and the gardens to get to the pack house. I didn’t want anyone to see Bellamy covered in blood.
