Juliette “Now!” I yell. Not missing a beat, Cleo throws a silver dagger at lighting speed, but bloody Rowan moves out of the way. The blade misses its target, but alas, between the crazed Alpha being distracted from dodging Cleo’s knife, and me taking another knife from the wall and plunging it into Chris’ thigh, the Princess and I manage to make a run for it. Just barely. The adrenaline that kicked in, along with the strength that Lyra gave me so I can rush away, is only good for a few seconds.
