I could have lost her forever. All of that went through my mind as I kissed her with a passion that exhibited how I felt, my hand gripping the back of her neck, my body pressing against her. I had long suspected that Sandra was unbalanced but never could I have anticipated she would have gone as far as she did. I gripped my mate tighter, never wanting to let her go, wanting nothing more than to claim her again, and hesitant to do so. If I hadn't been so obsessed with finding Sandra, Josie would never have been in such a perilous situation as the one I had found her in in the first place.
