I saw her collapse to the ground and I staggered over to her, ignoring the pain in my back that was quickly fading, my wounds beginning to heal. Josie's eyes were closed and she was breathing but she was unresponsive as I gently tried to shake her, ignoring the chaos that surrounded me. I had no doubts that the pack fighting Alpha Drake and our Black Moon Pack was Josies. Alpha Drake had gone too far this time.
"Josie" I murmured, feeling stricken.
