Josie POV
Rose wasn't like what I had expected. I guess I wasn't sure what I was expecting to be honest. She was young, little more than a teenager and she was quiet, meek even. Part of me suspected that she had been taught not to express her opinions too loudly or at all and the thought saddened me. She was overly polite as well.
"Thank you for agreeing to have me," she said quietly, bowing her head to Rohan and I, "your parents were very kind to me" she added with a smile.
I nodded at her. There was something about this girl, that seemed well off. Maybe it was the lack of hope in her eyes or the general listlessness she conveyed.
