By unspoken agreement, neither I nor the boy spoke much. I took his hand and we walked into the forest, my body stumbling along slightly. His eyes were dark and mysterious as he led me in deeper without hesitation, while I giggled softly, feeling reckless and tipsy. I hummed lightly under my breath, looking up at the night sky with a big smile on my face. I felt exhilarated. The cool air on my bare skin made me shiver as my hair billowed around my face. The boy gave a laugh, stopping in a clearing. I felt butterflies in my stomach as he gently pushed me against the trunk of a tree, my eyes widening as he cupped my chin in one hand.
