"Thank you, thank you." Lexi refused to release me from her tight hug. She had said thank you a thousand times now and kept squealing like a young child. I didn't want to struggle with her so I let her be, not like I was affected by her tight hug.
She finally pulled herself away from me and beamed with a smile. I returned her smile and she held my hands. "It seems the moon goddess had sent you to me here today. You have no idea how much you have impacted me in just a span of a few hours. I'm really glad I met you, Doris." She was almost close to tears.
I smiled and hugged her briefly. "And I'm happy that I could do so. I'm also glad that I met you today and could be of help to you."
