Who would want to be killed by these fiery purebred vampires? Everyone already knew their strength and where they stood if a sudden attack happened. No one wants to die yet and it was obvious in most of the faces that were here, the reason why I knew that many, if not all would stand behind my back after Doris had announced.
When she made her announcement, by asking for our choices, I was not that surprised to see the first elder move immediately to stand behind her back as it had been clear enough that he was on her side, but I was quite shocked to see some faces that I had not expected to stand behind her.
