“The special Wolfsbane prompted him to betray you, Snake would never in his right senses do that to you.” The First Elder said in a shaky voice.
I could not believe my ears, I've never heard about Snake's suicide until now. Nobody would talk to me about it, besides the fact that he betrayed me.
“I'm sorry, I didn't know he had to go through this much, all for my sake.” My voice almost inaudible uttered.
I rose from the seat, walked to where the First Elder was seated and placed a hand on his shoulder, giving it a reassuring squeeze.
“He didn't just betray you, Doris. He betrayed me and the family, and it's all because of that King,” he cussed in a whisper.
