"I said I know what you've been through...what your ex-husband and your mother have put you through, angel, I know everything"
I say and I watch as Elena's face contorts from anger to shock, horror and embarrassment.
I don't know why she'd feel the latter emotion because she's got absolutely no reason to feel this way about this, if anything, her dumbass ex-husband is the one who should feel embarrassed and shame for putting his hands on a woman the way that he did.
"How?"
Elena asked and my heart hurt for her when I heard her broken whisper.
"Brandon and your dad told me, angel"
I tell Elena whose expression quickly changed back to anger.
"What?"
She said through gritted teeth and my heart immediately started to race, especially when I saw Elena jump up out of her
