I was left completely stunned when Sterling ran away from me. What the hell, I thought.
Before I knew it Samuel was beside me lecturing me about how she's in a fragile state, and how the hell could I take advantage of her. I wasn't having it. I looked at Samuel, but his eyes were foggy, he was linking someone. I hoped it was Sterling, maybe he could find out why she took off after our kiss, unlikely but a guy could hope.
"Well...?" I asked Samuel after his eyes returned to normal.
"Alpha Jackson says she is fine," Samuel replied, not taking his eyes off of mine.
"You linked the Alpha!" my voice raised, it was louder than I wanted but I was getting pissed off, "Why the hell did you do that Samuel?" I huffed at him
"It's Sam!" He angrily replied. I ignored his statement
