Laurence knew that and didn’t want to get close to Patrick, so she just ignored him.
“You know you should greet me, Laurence.”
Patrick was unhappy to see Laurence’s indifference. He walked to him with anger.

Laurence said, put a strawberry into her mouth, and looked perfunctory. Patrick was furious.
“You want me to teach you a lesson, boy? You are just an adopted kid. You should remember that.”
Patrick shouted, took over the strawberry from Laurence, and threw it into the dustbin. Then he sat down and asked Hale to remove the fruit tray.
