Today, Cathy was dressed in a pink tracksuit, with pink runners and her hair in a high ponytail. If she had not suffered so much at the hands of the Hills, she would admit Cathy was a pretty girl, your usual preppy blonde but more beautiful and alluring. No wonder Patrick was in love with her.
Cathy was looking at Laraine with trepidation. After all, she had made a big fat lie and gotten Laurence involved in it. Cathy was expecting a blow out, swearing, anything but the calm complacent look Laraine was giving her now.
Laraine ignored Cathy and continued into the parking lot, following Hale. This would not mean she necessarily had to be nice to Cathy. After all, Cathy did make up the lie and make her life more difficult.
