Oliver totally understood, nodded and even agreed as he patted mom's shoulder. "I understand, mom, and don't call yourself selfish for minding your children's happiness. You are the best. And please don't ever think that it's bad that you mind and you consider our emotions before you make any huge decision." Mom was touched and grateful. "Thank you, son. Thank you." Oliver hugged both mom and I. "For now, let's just hope and pray for the best. Let's pray that dad will recover soon and he will be conscious again." I nodded, totally agreeing with my brother. He was indeed right. There isn't any time to point fingers of who's at fault or who to blame because those things won't help dad's recovery. The best thing to do is to be hopeful all together that dad will sooner or later be alright.
