"Eli, wake up!"
"Hmmm?" I was still sleepy when mom was shaking my shoulder.
It was early in the morning and I supposed to still be sleeping.
"Look at this trending news of town just as this morning," she said and wanted me to take a look at the newspaper she was holding.
I could just brush my hair out of frustration. Seriously?! She woke me up in the middle of my sleep to show me the newest trend in the newspaper!
I was even too lazy to open my eyes yet and still wanted to close them again to go back to sleep. With the nurses going back and forth here last night to monitor daddy's condition, we were also disturbed and would wake up every time so it was only now that I slept straight for few hours.
