Trevor and I were both catching our breaths as he gently pushed me to break the kiss.
“We’re here…” he said in a very low deep voice.
I glanced at the window and saw that he was indeed right. We were already in front of a restaurant and I couldn’t believe I wasn’t aware the vehicle had already come to halt, and that just simply meant I was too invested in the emotion and fire I thought were about to ignite that I was so distracted and I didn’t notice we already arrived at our destination!
My eyes shifted to Trevor once again and his face was serious, dark, and he wasn’t looking at me. His gazes were focused somewhere else and not on me. I felt a bit embarrassed and disappointed. Did he just regret that we actually kissed? Did he not enjoy it the way I did? D*mn it!
